ACDelco GM Original Equipment Dexron VI ATF - 1 qt

The most recent addition to the well-established DEXRON series of automotive transmission fluids is the ACDelco DEXRON-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid. This fluid offers more consistent shift performance, even under extreme conditions, and has a longer degradation time. By using DEXRON-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid, automatic transmissions can last longer and perform better.

This transmission fluid is designed for vehicles that meet the following requirements: it must be fully licensed and approved by GM, recommended for use in GM transmissions from model year 2006 and onwards that call for DEXRON-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (replacing DEXRON-III and DEXRON-II(E)), or recommended for any other vehicle manufacturer that requires DEXRON-VI, III, or II(E). It is important to note that ACDelco DEXRON-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid should not be used in CVT (Continuously Variable Transmissions) or DCT (Dual Clutch Transmissions) that require specialized fluids.

This transmission fluid is backward compatible with previous DEXRON fluids and can be used as an improved replacement for older vehicles and transmissions that originally used older DEXRON fluids. It offers improved performance in various aspects such as friction durability, viscosity stability, aeration and foam control, and oxidation resistance. Using DEXRON-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid has the potential to improve fuel economy and extend the life of the transmission, allowing for longer drain intervals.
