LUBEGARD Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Protectant is suitable for all types of automatic transmissions and manuals that require ATF, including heavy-duty transmissions like Allison. It can be used with all synthetic or mineral-based DEXRON, MERCON, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) ATF's, excluding Ford Type F ATF and CVT applications. LUBEGARD helps regulate heat, especially in modern front-wheel drive vehicles that run hotter. It features LXE (Liquid Wax Ester) Technology, base oils, and conventional additives to enhance the thermal and oxidative stability of automatic transmission fluids. This ensures that the fluid remains stable and does not thin out, burn, or form deposits when operating at higher temperatures.

Adding LUBEGARD ATF Protectant to your transmission will not cause clutch friction issues or slippage. To use, simply add 1 oz. (29.6 mL) per quart (Liter) of ATF to the total transmission capacity (including torque converter) while the engine is idling in park. Be careful not to overfill. This product is designed for universal fit and can reduce wear throughout the transmission, optimize total transmission performance, prevent overheating by reducing elevated operating temperatures, eliminate clutch chatter and torque converter shudder, and soften harsh shifts, making them quicker and smoother.
